On the application page, we ask you to share a little bit of information and three representative images of your work. We’re not looking to see the exact image that you plan to print, just evidence of your ability to make images. Undergraduate students, please note: we would like to hear from your printmaking instructor about your ability to undertake a print of this scale.

Once you’ve applied, you can start thinking about your image. Some details to keep in mind:

• The maximum block size is 32″ x 60″ x 0.75″
• It’s possible to print smaller blocks. If you plan to do this, it’s helpful if you can bring additional blocks (lower than the 0.75″ height) to help fill out the jig.
• You’ll want to assemble a team of people to print with you. We recommend a minimum of 4, but more can be helpful.
• We’ll supply the ink, pressure, and cleaning products, you’ll supply the paper. A list of some of the papers people have used in past events can be found on our Materials page.
