Really Big Prints! (RBP) the biennial, multi-day, large-scale relief printmaking event is organized by Wisconsin printmakers Berel Lutsky (UW Green Bay-Manitowoc Campus, Emeritus), Craig Grabhorn (Director of Exhibits & Facility Above & Beyond Children’s Museum), and Rebecca Jabs (Rebecca Jabs Illustration).
Really BIG PRINTS will happen July 14 -17 2027 at Paradigm Coffee & Music in Sheboygan, WI. Paradigm, and Quasius Construction have agreed to be the new home of Really BIG PRINTS!! We will be printing in the spacious building behind Paradigm Coffee.
The large shed with openings at either end will allow for “rain or shine” printing sessions with coffee and baked goods available mere steps away. The timing is also good as the beginning of Sheboygan’s famous Mid-Summer Festival of the Arts overlaps with the last morning of printing on the 17th. We expect to have many eyes for Saturday’s printing session, and to able to have a pop-up gallery on site.
When applying you will submit three sample images of your work, while they don’t have to be relief prints they should reflect your style and approach to image-making. There is a $25 application fee for professional artists, it is free for students to apply.
Once accepted there is a $50 fee for professional artists and a $25 fee for students to participate.

Scholarships
Underrepresented Artist Scholarship
As in previous years, we will offer a fully-funded scholarship for an underrepresented artist to print at RBP. You can apply for this scholarship by including a short statement at the end of your application. The recipient will receive free admission to RBP, along with funds for materials and travel.
Educator Scholarship
We are pleased to offer a scholarship for local educators to participate in Really Big Prints event. Educators in Wisconsin are welcome to apply. The selected educator will be reimbursed up to $500 in costs related to preparing for and participating in the event.
Those interested in the scholarship should submit a short statement (100-200 words) discussing their teaching role and how participating in Really Big Prints would benefit their work and community. We will announce the scholarship recipient in spring of 2027.
Block Carving Workshop Series
If you’ve never made a relief print, consider joining our hands-on, fully supportive Really Big Prints workshop. Running from March through July, this workshop will guide you step by step through creating an image, transferring it to your block, choosing carving strategies, and proofing your print before RBP. Let us know you are interested in the workshop when applying and we will reach out with more details once printers are chosen.
